Arrows keys or left analogue stick or dpad: move
Down: crouch
Z or (A): Jump
X or (Y): Throw a boomerang
Enter or (Start): Pause/proceed

If you have a non-QWERTY keyboard, the action keys (Z and X) should be the “corresponding” character keys in the bottom-left corner.
